Solid State Drive (SSD) VS Standard Hard-Drives

8/9/2016

Please watch our video below which explain the difference between the conventional hard-drive and the newer Solid State Drive (SSD).

With new technology available we highly recommend installing Solid State Disk (SSD). Although it costs more than the conventional hard-drive the speed comparison is unrivaled. SSD's on average produce 10x better speeds than the conventional Hard Disk Drive (HDD). SSD's can generally make an older computer feel new again (ask BMC for our opinion based on your computer) by installing it and rebuilding the computer software onto the new drive. We use SSD drives on all our computers here at Blue Mountains Computers. SSD's are extremely popular with the "Gamers" market for all the obviously reasons.
